Hunting knives have been around since the Stone Age. Stone, bone and shell were used as knives. All they had in common with today's knives is that deepened in stone. The blade length varies depending on what it is used for. Most hunting knives have a curved blade to help cut through objects easily. The higher it is, the easier it is for hunter skinned carcasses.
